In the wake of France’s decision to ban restaurants from throwing away leftover food, a Canadian grocer has decided to follow suit. Sort of.

Instead of tossing ugly food away, the Naturally Imperfect line hopes to provide Canadian consumers with produce that costs up to 30 percent less. With the rising cost of living, it’s a welcomed option for most and proof that flavour is only skin deep.
